CONCEAL/REVEAL is a series of twelve works chronicling an anonymous woman’s life. Each work represents a ‘day of significance’; a day in which a momentous event, suggested by a stain, occurred, irretrievably changing this woman’s life. Conceived as pages from a diary, each work contains marked, distressed cloth. The stains are covered, partially obscured by layering and stitching. They can be easily overlooked, but upon closer observation, become blatantly apparent.
